The first snowfall has arrived here on the Alpine Plateau, and with it, the anticipation for the 2025–26 Nordic ski season at Arrowhead! While the snow is beginning to build, the trails aren’t quite open yet — but we’ll share the moment they are groomed and ready. We are as excited as you are to see those magical and sweeping views of the West Elks and the San Juans — it’s going to be a great season.

Our Trail System Keeps Growing
This year, our team has been hard at work expanding Arrowhead Nordic. With the addition of Blue Mountain, we’ve more than doubled the kilometers in our trail system — bringing more variety, more loops, and more breathtaking scenery to explore on your skis.
This expansion is a huge milestone, and we’re thrilled to share it with all of you.
Giving Tuesday — Help Us Upgrade Our Groomer
With expanded trails and growing use, we need grooming equipment that can keep up. This Giving Tuesday, we’re launching a fundraiser to help purchase a Ginzugroomer for superior classic-track capability.
A new groomer means:
- More consistent, durable classic tracks
- More kilometers groomed more efficiently
- Higher-quality surfaces for classic and skate skiers
- Better grooming across our expanded system
